According to reports, the queen of soul Aretha Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Just last month she cancelled all her public appearances due to an unspecified illness and underwent surgery earlier this month.
After last week's surgery Franklin said "God is still in control," ... "I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country"
Pancreatic cancer is the same disease that claimed the life of actor Patrick Swayze.
