Style File Hailee Steinfeld Will Be The New Face Of Miu Miu 17 May 2011, 3:26 pm Looks like Miuccia Prada’s got true grit. Miu Miu confirmed today that its newest campaign face is the Oscar-nominated young actress Hailee Steinfeld, who set the rumor mill buzzing when she turned up at the label’s Fall ‘11 show in Paris (alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Mila Kunis), reportedly at the personal invitation of Mrs. Prada. Steinfeld’s made no secret of her Miu Miu leanings. She’s chosen the label for several red-carpet moments over the past year, like the BAFTAs (left) and the Berlin premiere of True Grit. (She also wore Prada to the Screen Actors Guild Awards.) Unlike the Prada campaigns, which tend to be model-heavy, Miu Miu often selects actresses for its ads; Steinfeld follows in the footsteps of Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. In recent days, however, Miu Miu too has gone the model route: Last season’s spots featured catwalkers Kasia Struss, Querelle Jansen, and former Prada face Sasha Pivovarova.
