Topshop Unique Fall 2011 RTW Collection 4 Mar 2011, 5:08 am
Topshop Unique Fall 2011 RTW CollectionEdgy and extremely childish, Topshop Unique's latest fashion show rocked the runway with the most interesting shapes and eye-catching effective details. Fur, polka dots, draping style, animated and monochromatic looks, are just a few fashion trends ready to develop for the Fall/Winter 2011/2012 season!
Who would've thought that Disney meeting fashion week means more than Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez? Well, Topshop Unique goes back to the classic with 101 Dalmatians movie's character Cruella de Vil, used as inspiration. When vintage dots meet fur on lovely blonde models with fun Minnie Mouse hairstyles, and create a cartoony story behind the collection, it all leads to a successful interesting tale to tell. It all starts slowly with black and white outfits which emphasize the dalmatians theme chosen, where details such as dots, fur, bows, classy elegant accessories, vintage shapes and fashion trends, are all seen into the spotlight later on energetic and edgy through juvenile styling choices. Fashion Trends As a reverse to the character chosen, Cruella de Vil, Topshop Unique's Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Collection takes it to a new level of uniqueness, through sweetness and childish influences, which sets a contraposition to the evil, dramatic and cruel, Cruella. If at first, it all resumes to the two non-colors, black and white, typical for Cruella, later colors complete the collection and give to it a sense of modern actual trends through urban chic shapes and styles. The main fashion trends which are developed through Topshop Unique's fashion show for the Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear season go from luxurious fur coats with chic splashes of dots all over them, baggy polka dotted printed harem pants, long length skirts in classic shapes, fun anime basic tops, sailor inspired looks, elegant gloves and hardcore leather or fancy printed jumpers.
